Season: June 8 – July 30

Position Type: Seasonal, Part-Time

Basin Climbing & Fitness is hiring Summer Camp Staff to help lead our youth climbing and activity camps this summer. We’re looking for confident, energetic individuals who enjoy working with kids and thrive in an active, team-based environment.

Who This Role Is For

This position is ideal for people who:

  1. Enjoy working with kids ages 6–13

  2. Are active, energetic, and comfortable being on their feet for extended periods

  3. Can confidently lead groups, set boundaries, and take charge when needed

  4. Work well with a team and communicate clearly

  5. Take initiative and are dependable

  6. Are available for at least 3 weeks between June 8 and July 30

Responsibilities

  1. Lead and supervise groups of campers throughout the day

  2. Support climbing instruction, games, and activities

  3. Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive environment

  4. Communicate effectively with fellow staff and camp leads

  5. Represent Basin professionally to campers and parents

  6. Follow all safety protocols and facility policies

Requirements

  1. Must pass a background check

  2. Must complete SafeSport certification (provided/covered by Basin if needed)

  3. Ability to stand, move, and stay engaged for the duration of camp days

  4. Prior experience with kids, coaching, camps, or athletics is a plus (but not required)
