How to schedule a field trip
From first email to climbing day.
Send us the basics
Email Lauren with your school or group name, approximate group size, the age range of participants, and your preferred dates.
Get your proposal
We'll put together a proposal for your group, with additional offerings available for you to consider.
Reserve your date
Pay a deposit to secure your day. It's applied to your total bill.
Climb!
Arrive and climb. The rest of your bill is paid when you get here.
FIELD TRIP RATES
Rates that work for groups
We have a variety of offerings for field trips, and climbing starts as low as $12.50 per climber. We'll tailor a proposal to your group.
- Climbing from $12.50 per climber
- Teachers and staff climb free (1 free for every 10 climbers)
- A custom proposal with optional add-ons
- Extra parents and siblings can pay their own entry and join
Good to know
How many chaperones or teachers are required?
Because of the active nature of climbing, we require a minimum of 1 adult for every 10 climbers.
How long should we allow for a field trip?
We recommend a minimum of 2 hours for a field trip to Basin.
Can we bring food?
Yes. We have a large party room and two small patios with picnic tables, so you can bring your lunch and eat before or after climbing.
When do we pay?
You'll pay a deposit to secure your date, applied to your total bill. The remaining balance is paid when you arrive on the day of your field trip.
