Here are the official rules

Open to everyone. No membership needed.
Up to 2 entries per person.
Original, BASIN-inspired designs. AI-assisted designs are allowed.
4 colors max, counted across the front and back together.
The word “Basin” has to appear somewhere in the design. T-shirt designs may include a front and a back.
High-resolution or vector files: PNG (300 dpi, transparent background), PDF, SVG, AI or EPS.
Winners grant Basin the right to print and sell merchandise with their design.

I give Basin permission to display and share my entry to run and promote the contest, including on social media. If my design places in the top 3, I agree to sign over all rights in it to Basin, including the right to reproduce, modify, sell, and license it on any product, with no royalties or payment beyond the prize. FAQs

Can I enter more than once?

Yes, up to two entries per person. A T-shirt design with a front and a back counts as one entry. A front-only design, or one meant for other merch, just needs the one design.

Can I use AI?

AI-assisted designs are welcome. The idea should still be yours, and BASIN-inspired.

Do I need to be a member?

No. Anyone can enter, members or not.

What file types are accepted?

High-resolution or vector files: PNG (300 dpi, transparent background), PDF, SVG, AI or EPS.

How and when will I know if I made the top 5?

On November 2 we reveal the top 5 on Instagram and open the community vote. If your design makes it, we’ll email you with more details and let you know when the post is up. Finalists stay anonymous during the vote, so the best design wins, not the most popular person. When the top 3 are announced, we’ll name the designers too, unless you’d like to stay anonymous.
